PictureWorking out ideas with P7 pupils at Cromarty Primary School.
About:
I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art (Edinburgh University) with a BA in Illustration in 2010.  Here I became interested in making drawings on location.  To develop my drawings I use printmaking or digital techniques.  A particular concern in my creative practice is how drawing and print can operate as a means of engaging with a specific environment, community or cultural activity.

Since graduating, projects include a commission for Edinburgh World Heritage to create a Community Map (downloadable from their website here).
Also, the Cromarty Arts Trust Residency: which involved spending a beautiful autumnal October in historic Cromarty on The Black Isle.  Before returning to study, I worked professionally in a number of theatre and participation roles in Scotland and Tyneside.  I've continued to explore this interest through my own practice; including making an illustrated book about how a theatre company creates a new play for Early Years children.

Thanks for visiting my website.  If you are interested in any aspect of my work, please get in touch.
